Service Opportunities

Here are descriptions for just a few of the many service opportunities at RPPC.

Partnership for Missional Church (PMC)

PMC is a three year journey of discernment to discover a church’s own character and calling. Clusters of churches come together to learn how to form a Christian Community around God’s mission in the world. RPPC has now completed the training process gaining a deeper understanding of how God is sending us into the community. We continue to apply the knowledge and skills learned through this process to build relationships in the community and find ways to connect with God’s mission in those relationships.

Fellowship Committee

The Fellowship Committee organizes many opportunities for Christian fellowship throughout the year. From Sing For Your Supper dinners, to breakfasts, to senior luncheons, they're always cooking something up! Whether you can cook or not, there is always a need for additional help in the kitchen and organizing and setting up for these fellowship opportunities.

Building Maintenance

Our church building is very beautiful and has served us well for many years. However, it requires a good amount of manpower to keep it in good condition so it can continue to facilitate God's work through RPPC. Our Property Committee coordinates and organizes various groups of individuals to carry out the necessary maintenance tasks and we can always use more help. Whatever your level of skill (or lack thereof), we can find something for you to do!

Christmas Bazaar

It's never too early to start thinking/planning for our annual Christmas Bazaar! It takes the heart of a few and the hands of many to coordinate and execute this well-received and greatly appreciated community offering. This festive event supports our fundraising efforts to facilitate God's work here at RPPC, in the community, and missions abroad. Delicious food, attic treasures, jewelry, arts and crafts, toys, kids' activities, and other festivities coming in November. Please offer your ideas, help, and donations!

Hearts to Hands

Calling all novices to experienced sewers, quilters, weavers, embroiderers, knitters, cross-stitchers, and crocheters! This is a fulfilling ministry where the love in our hearts unfolds in the handiwork of beautiful and useful gifts bringing warmth and comfort to others. Hearts to Hands meets Monday mornings at 10am.
