SERMON NOTES

Preparation - Jesus came into the world as a baby so that He could experience the fullness of life - He could relate to us both in our adolescence and as an adult. This also allowed for the preparation of His eventual death on the cross and His rising again.

Bread and Body - God was open, calm and in charge at the last supper He knew the bread that He was offering was cosmic and He knew its value. He remains open and patient while we come to understand and believe in Him.

Blood of the Covenant - The blood of the covenant poured out is an expression of God's love and promise and gives us the perfect image of His overflowing and unending goodness. When we take communion, may we eat and drink like we have never before for this is the gift most sacred.
