SERMON NOTES:
Self-focus is the enemy of love.
We cannot truly love others if we’re focused on ourselves.
Even the things we do for others can be motivated by a desire to make ourselves look good rather than to truly bless them.
Godly love seeks to bless others, not to exalt the self.
Passion seeks to get from the other.
Real love seeks to bless the other.
God’s love in Jesus gives us a new Operating system.
We were created to live in self-giving relationships.
The Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out and enables us to live God’s way.
